Why did I lose my calendar appointments after a crash?

We are very sorry to hear that you've lost some of your calendar events.
 
Normally, this should not happen as all your appointments are synced to your calendar server such as Google Calendar, Exchange, Outlook.com, Hotmail, Windows Live, etc. 

The only way appointments can be gone is if:
  1. You either deleted the appointment
  2. Or the calendar events were never synced to the calendar server; meaning that it was only saved locally on your device.
Most of the time, your events are still saved on the calendar servers, depending on whether you're using Google Calendar or Outlook.com, just log in on www.google.com/calendar or www.outlook.com to check whether your appointments are still there.

Once you've confirmed that your appointments are still on the calendar server, but DigiCal still isn't able to show them, the chances are very likely that you have a synchronization problem with the calendar server.

    what can i do when i have the dates only local on the phone?
    does exist something like "teamview" also for smartphones?
