If you're unfamiliar with widgets, you can first read our tutorial on how to add, re-size and remove a widget on your homescreen.

List Widget

The list widget gives you a clear overview of your appointments with a separate cell for each event. When you tap on a particular date, the DigiCal app will open and send you to that exact date. It's possible to create new events through the widget using the "add event" button on the top right side of the widget. Alternatively you can tap on days with no existing events and directly schedule events for that day. If you specify a location when you create an event, the widget will show a location symbol to the right of the event. Clicking on the shortcut will lead you to a location search using Google Maps.

Day Widget

The day view widget gives you a beautiful overview of all the events that are happening today in a single tile. Switch between dates using the up and down arrows and quickly add events or change configurations using the shortcut buttons. You can choose whether you would like the header to be displayed or not. It's also possible to move the cogwheel to the bottom right hand corner or hide it completely. Tapping on the tile will open the DigiCal app to that particular date.

Day List Widget

The day list widget is similar to the day widget but shows multiple days in one scrollable list. Each day is given a separate tile and you can customize the number of days that are shown through the configuration settings. (Please note that this widget is only available for Android 3.0 devices)

You can also adjust whether you want to see the header or not. Additionally, you can choose where you would like to place the cogwheel: in the upper right corner or in the lower right corner. Tap on a grid and you will be taken to the associated date in the main DigiCal app.

The Month Calendar widget (DigiCal+ feature)

Our newest widget is designed to be clean and simple, using colored dots to show the number and type of events you have scheduled for each day. Simply tap on a day and you will be shown a very handy scrollable list of your appointments below the month overview. Tapping on any of these events will allow you to edit that specific event or add reminders to it, making this one of the most convenient and powerful widgets we offer as you will rarely need to open the main DigiCal app.
